If you do not plan to conduct its own background checks, here are some questions to ask before hiring a security company:
* Does the company conduct a thorough background check all employees by an independent agency commercial detection?
* Does the company did not conduct a DOT 5 drug test panel on all employees?
* Does the company carried conduct a background investigation of employees for the State Patrol?
* Does the company have to fingerprint all employees?
* Does the company have the FBI conduct a background investigation on all employees?
* Does the company conduct a psychological profile of employees when requested by a client?
* Does the company conduct a physical agility examination of workers at the request of a customer?
If that the company does not do everything following it should consider making their own background checks … or go with another, more respectable security company.
In addition to the bottoms of security contractors, must also be concerned about their training.
Poorly trained security personnel to put their business and employees at risk and will result in low returns on investment.
Here are some questions to ask about training before hiring a security company:
* Does the company offer the State Security official qualification in firearms?
* Does the state-owned basic unarmed security officer pre-job training?
* Does the company offer First Aid / CPR / AED training?
* Does the company offer training Expandable Baton?
* Does the company offer training M26/X26 Taser?
* Does chemical company / OC training?
* Does the training company Wives?
* Does (33 supply company Facility Security CFR 105,205) training?
Besides the above, the security company must also provide all staff with quality, industry specific training in areas such as:
* The current security threats and patterns
* Weapons of mass destruction and weapons of mass effect
* Improvised Explosive Devices
* Crowd control
* Security Communications / radio protocols
* Plans Hazardous Materials and procedures
* Security control of persons, baggage and vehicles
* Incident Response
* Inspection Vehicle
* Random search procedures
Here's the bottom line: you simply can not afford to put the safety of its employees and businesses at risk by hiring unqualified reliable security contractors.
You need to seek and find a company where security background checks and training are treated with the utmost seriousness.
High quality training is essential for providing high quality security.
When you find a company that is truly committed to training (and believe me they are out there) you can be sure that their security personnel will be well informed and highly motivated to solve all their security problems.
