Laser rangefinder or GPS for golf?

What type is best for golf? What is easier to use? What is more accurate? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

GPS, sometimes you can not see the flag so the rangefinder would be ineffective. I have a GPS, but he played w / a gentleman who made last week and was very good to know the exact distance of all my shots. I played about 6 strokes better.
